Now onboarding a small group of founding studios

Always know where to act in your studio, without digging for it.

Each week, Studio Signal reads your whole business and hands you the few things worth doing: who's slipping, who's ready to upgrade, what's working, what's not. So you always know where to act to grow your studio, and your profit.

Example insights

What you'd see in a single week.

The actual cards from your weekly Pulse, pulled from right across your studio.

Retention

A regular who's slipping, caught early.

Alexander normally trains twice a week. He's now 23 days quiet, four times longer than his rhythm, with about $7,200 a year on the line. Studio Signal flags him, points you to the right tab, and drafts a personal message ready to send.

Open the Client Health tab

Community

A regular worth celebrating, caught in time.

Isabella is two classes off her 100th. Studio Signal catches it while there's still time, shows you the classes she's already booked so you can say it in person, and drafts the note in your voice.

Open the Community tab

Conversion

Warm intros, while they're still warm.

Five intro clients this week against a usual one. Studio Signal shows who's closest to committing, then drafts the follow-up in your voice, right down to the class they came to and the membership that matches how often they come.

Open the Upsell & Conversion tab

Instructors

Whose classes fill, and whose run light.

Tara's classes run 81% full. Camille's run 66%, on a similar number of classes. Studio Signal puts the gap in front of you, so you can tell whether it's the instructor or the timeslot, before you change anything.

Open the Instructors tab

Margin

A class that's quietly costing you.

Your Tuesday 11am has run half-full for six weeks. At that size it's costing more than it earns, here's the prompt to move it, merge it, or fill it.

Open the Capacity tab

Marketing

What your marketing is actually returning.

With ad spend, bookings and revenue finally in one place, you can see which channels pull their weight and which are quietly draining budget.

How it works

Connect once. Know what to do every week.

1

Connect

I get you set up with the tools you already use, or do it for you if you'd rather. Either way, Studio Signal only ever reads your data. It never changes anything.

2

It reads your whole studio

Every week it works through everything that happened across your business, the way a data science team would, if you could afford one. The numbers are worked out properly, not guessed.

3

You see what's happening, and what to do

Open the app and every part of your studio explains itself in plain English, no decoding charts. The Pulse shows the two or three things worth doing this week, and a weekly email brings them to you too. A few minutes on your phone and you're across it.

4

It keeps getting sharper

It learns what's working, never repeats the same nudge twice, and keeps pointing you at what will grow the studio and protect your margins.

The whole platform

The Pulse is the front door. Your whole studio is behind it.

Most tools hand you a dashboard and leave you to make sense of it. Studio Signal reads your whole studio for you, pulls out what matters in plain English, and tells you what to do. Go as deep as you like, and always know how to grow your studio. No data skills needed.

Customer intelligence

Go deeper on any customer, and draft the outreach right there.

Open any client Studio Signal flags, and see their whole story: what's changed, why it matters, and the exact message to send, written for you and ready in a tap.

  • Their full history, in one view
  • Why they're flagged, in plain English
  • A personal message, drafted and ready to send
A Studio Signal customer panel: one client's history, churn risk, why they're drifting, and a drafted outreach message

When it's a tough month, you stop looking. That's exactly when it costs you.

Clients drift away quietly. Intros don't convert. A class slowly loses money. By the time it lands in your bank balance, the moment to do something about it has passed, and you've been too stretched to go digging for it.

Scattered

Your booking app, payments, email and ads each tell a slice of the story. None of them tell you the whole thing.

Too late

A regular goes quiet, an intro slips away, a class quietly drains the timetable, a paid campaign keeps spending long after it stopped working, and you only catch it once the money's already gone.

No time for it

It all comes back to you, and pulling reports apart is the last thing you have time for, especially in a slow season.

Two hours of digging, or five minutes of doing.

Without Studio Signal

  • Your data is scattered across booking, payments, email, ads and accounting, none of them talking to each other.
  • Problems you only spot once they've already cost you.
  • Numbers you avoid when the month looks rough, with no real sense of what would help.
  • Hours lost piecing it together, and still no clear next step.

With Studio Signal

  • One platform that brings it all together, a single 360-degree read across your whole studio.
  • Early warning across the whole studio, the regular going quiet, the intro about to lapse, the class losing money, while you can still act.
  • Plain-English guidance on what will actually grow the business, even in a slow season.
  • Five minutes a week: the exact people to contact, each with a message already drafted.

Why you can trust it

Built to be trusted, not just plugged into AI.

There's a new "AI tool" for studios every week. Most just pour your data into a chatbot and hope. Studio Signal is different. Under the hood it's serious business intelligence, modelling and machine learning, the kind of analytics big companies run, purpose-built for exactly how boutique studios work. The AI's only job is to turn all of that into plain English you can act on. So you get the depth of a data science team, with none of the complexity.

Your data stays yours.

  • Studio Signal only ever reads your data, it never changes anything in your systems.
  • It never touches card numbers.
  • It never sells your data, or shares it for advertising.
  • It never mixes your data with other studios', or uses it to train anything across them.
  • Export or delete it whenever you want. No lock-in.

Who it's for

Built for studios like yours.

Studio Signal is made for boutique fitness studios, Pilates, reformer, yoga, barre and small gyms, whether your clients are on memberships, passes or casual visits. If the studio rests on you, it's built for you.

One site or several.

Every number works the same across locations. Compare your sites side by side, or narrow to one studio and stay there as you move around. And a client who trains at two of your sites counts once, at the site they currently train at most, not wherever they signed up, so your totals never double-count.

Rhys, founder of Studio Signal

Why I built this

I've spent 17 years in data and analytics, most recently leading the team for Intuit, the company behind QuickBooks and Mailchimp. I also ran my own small business, so I know what it's like to wear every hat and still feel like you're flying blind, your numbers scattered across a dozen tools with no time to make sense of them. I always wanted to put the power of a big company's data science team in the hands of a studio owner. That's Studio Signal.

I'm full time on it, and there's no support desk in between. When you have a question, or something you wish it did, you're talking to the person who builds it, and what studios ask for is what gets built next.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can read an email, you can use Studio Signal. There's nothing to maintain, and every number comes with a plain-English explanation.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Studio Signal only ever reads your data, it never changes it. It never touches card numbers, never sells your data, and never mixes it with other studios'. Export or delete it any time, and there's no lock-in.

Will it work with the tools I already use?

Yes. Studio Signal connects your booking platform (like Momence), your ad accounts (like Meta and LinkedIn) and your accounting (Xero or MYOB), and brings them into one place, with new platforms added regularly. I'll get you set up, or do it for you.

How long until it's running?

Days, not months. Once you're connected I load your history, and your first weekly read follows shortly after.

You're new, what if you're not around next year?

Fair question, and worth knowing: this isn't a prototype I'm building as I go. Studio Signal is already a full, working platform, the founding period is about scaling it across more studios and products, not building it from scratch. There's no lock-in either, and your data stays yours and portable, so you're never trapped. As a founding studio, you're helping shape where it goes next.

Who do I talk to when I need help?

Me. I'm full time on Studio Signal, so there's no support queue to sit in and no ticket number. You get the founder, who's also the person who builds it, which means a question gets answered and a good idea gets built rather than logged. It's the real advantage of coming in early, and it isn't something you'll get from a platform with thousands of studios on it.

How is this different from the reports in my booking software?

Those only see what happened inside that one tool. Studio Signal connects everything, your booking platform, payments, marketing and accounting, into one picture, then tells you what's at stake and what to do about it. Behind the scenes it's advanced analytics, modelling and machine learning across your whole studio; on your screen it's plain English, the few things to do, with the messages to send already drafted.

What does it cost?

I'm setting pricing together with my first studios, that's what the founding pilot is. Founding studios get founding terms, and a rate locked in for backing it early.

Join the founding studios.

I'm partnering with a small group of founding studios as I refine and scale Studio Signal across more studios and platforms. You'll lock in founding rates for backing it early, and all I ask is your honest feedback, which comes straight to me and shapes what gets built next.
